Stourbridge produced one of their best all round displays of the season to emerge victorious against second-placed Chesham.

A single goal midway through the second half by Sean Geddes, teed up smartly by Ben Billingham, was enough to seal the points against a Chesham side which rarely troubled Dean Coleman in the Glassboys' goal.

The result was enough to lift Stourbridge back into fifth place in the Calor League Premier Division, and two wins from the final two games will guarantee a play-off place. Indeed, because of our significantly better goal difference compared to the other sides around us, four points will almost certainly be sufficient.

Defeat for Chesham means that Hemel Hempstead Town are Champions of the Premier Division. They triumphed 4-0 at Hungerford Town, allowing the Glassboys to leapfrof the Berkshire outfit into that final play-off spot.

Congratulations to Hemel who have proved to be the best side in the Division this season and are worthy Champions. We would like to wish them good luck in the Conference next season.

Elsewhere, third-placed Cambridge City won 1-0 at Poole Town, whilst St Albans City were 5-1 victors at Banbury United to maintain their fourth spot.
