It's 61 years this month since the Munich air disaster when Dudley born Duncan and several other Manchester United players lost their lives.
A 'slide presentation' and talk will be staged by Jim Cadman, based on his recently published book 'Duncan Edwards - Black Country Boy to Red Devil' in the Glassboys Bar at the Football Ground on Thursday, 21st February.
Graham Williams, who captained West Bromwich Albion to FA Cup Final and League Cup Final victories in the 1960’s, will be with Jim and he will talk with Graham about his memories of Duncan Edwards and specifically playing against Duncan in the FA Youth Cup Final when Albion played the emerging Busby Babes team of Manchester United team in 1955.
Graham will then take questions from the audience and you can share your own memories of the Busby Babes.
Copies of the very informative book, with the foreword written by Sir Bobby Charlton CBE, are on sale now from the Club Shop - price £10 - and they will also be available to purchase on the night.
Further details of The Duncan Edwards Tribute and upcoming events can be viewed at www.duncanedwardstribute.com
If any club members or supporters have memorabilia or photographs relating to Duncan Edwards, Jim would love to meet you on the night.
