Leamington based striker Ben Mackey, who joined the Glassboys in March this year from St Neots Town, has now opted to move to league rivals Hemel Hempstead Town for 2013/14.

Goalkeeper Lewis Solly is moving on after seven-and-a-half years and more than 350 appearances between the sticks for the Glassboys, while central defender and last season's captain Paul McCone has decided to test himself at a higher level and he has signed for Conference North new boys Leamington FC after three very successful seasons at Amblecote that culminated in him being named as both the Manager's and Directors' Player of the Year for 2012/13.

We wish all three players well with their new clubs and would particularly like to thank Lewis and Paul for their outstanding contribution to the club over a number of years - and not forgetting too their roles in our remarkable F A Cup run in 2011.

Talks have already taken place with several transfer targets, along with tying up deals with other members of our 2012/13 squad and we will bring you more updates in due course.
