We are delighted to announce that Stourbridge FC has been named as the Evo-Stik League's Community Club of the Season for 2016/17.

The Award was presented at the League's Annual Awards Night in Blackpool on Saturday, following the League AGM the same afternoon.

The Club was presented with the Peter Swales Trophy, given in honour of the former President of the Northern Premier League, and Chairman of Manchester City FC.

The Award is recognition for the hard work that goes on throughout the Club, not just on First Team matchdays but with our Youth Team, Ladies, Juniors and Girls' teams, and we are honoured to accept it on behalf of every one of the volunteers who help to keep the Club functioning every season. We could not do it without your help and we thank each and every one of you!

The Awards Night also saw Club Officials presented with the 2016/17 Premier Division Fair Play Award, for the second successive season, as well as the 2016/17 Premier Division Golden Boot Award on behalf of Luke Benbow. Luke takes the mantle from another former Glassboy, Karl Hawley, who was the Division's leading scorer in 2015/16.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Bostik (under their Evo-Stik brand) will continue their sponsorship of The Northern Premier League for an eighth season. The extended deal will see the League's official branding simplified slightly, meaning that Stourbridge will next season be playing in "Evo-Stik League Premier", with the lower Divisions known as "Evo-Stik North" and "Evo-Stik League South."

At the same time, Bostik have been unveiled as the new sponsors of the Isthmian League at Steps 3 & 4 (replacing Ryman Stationers). The Isthmian League will now be known as "The Bostik League", whilst the Southern League, already under Bostik sponsorship, will be rebranded as "The Evo-Stik League South."
