Stourbridge produced a superb performance in difficult conditions to win 3-1 at Workington and book a spot in today's draw.

In strong winds, and with driving rain throughout the second half, goals from Jamie Oliver, Will Richards and Luke Benbow put the Glassboys 3-0 ahead before Workington snatched a late consolation.

A full report on the game will follow.

Congratulations to all of the players and management on reaching the Competition Proper for the third time in five seasons.

And many thanks on behalf of all at the club to those magnificent supporters who made it feel like a home match for much of the afternoon, in spite of the weather. We hope you all had a safe journey home.

The draw for the First Round Proper will be televised live on ITV1 on Sunday afternoon, beginning at 1.35pm. Stourbridge will be ball no. 55, alongside the 48 clubs from Leagues One and Two as well as 31 other Non-League sides, once any replays have been concluded.

Three other Calor League Premier Division sides sealed places in the First Round - St Albans City won 2-0 at Chatham Town, Biggleswade Town beat Canvey Island 1-0, and Corby Town triumphed 3-1 at Colwyn Bay.

Poole Town and Hemel Hempstead Town will also be in the hat after drawing 0-0 at Staines Town and 3-3 at home to Sutton Utd respectively.

Weymouth were the only Premier Division side eliminated, going down 1-2 at home to Braintree Town.

The Calor League will have one other representative in the draw, with Daventry Town of the Central Division overcoming Hartley Wintney 6-1 away from home.
