The girls, who are currently top of the Mercian League Division 1 with maximum points, beat Wyre Forest Phoenix in last weekend's Shield Semi-Final, making it the fourth year on the trot that they have reached the Final!
The girls have won the Shield for the last three seasons, and what is even more impressive is that they have done so without ever conceding a goal, aside from penalty shoot-outs in the first two of their Finals.
That record was broken this time around as Wyre Forest managed a consolation goal, but that failed to dampen the girls' spirits.
To make the Final this season, the Under 13s have defeated Nunnery Wood and Blakedown, as well as Wyre Forest, and will now face Warndon in the final - a repeat of last year's Final, which Stourbridge won 2-0.
Last time around, Warndon were top of the League and expected to win, whereas this season it is our Girls who lead the way with maximum points from their ten fixtures so far. A great game awaits!
Coach Dave Suckling deserves a special mention. He took over a team that was very settled, yet has managed to get many of the girls playing in different positions, and keeping 'most' players and parents happy. That in itself is more important than any trophy!
