Following Monday night’s replay victory over Bradford PA, Stour will travel to old foes LEAMINGTON in the FA Trophy First Round.

An own goal and a Luke Shearer strike were enough to see off National League North side Avenue at Amblecote in the Third Round Qualifying.

The Glassboys will take on another National League North club in the First Round and will travel to Leamington on Saturday, 16th December (3 pm).

Admission prices at Leamington will be -
Adults..................................£12
Concessions.........................£8
Students (with NUS card)........£6
Under 16's............................£3

Under 12's admitted free of charge

If a replay is required, this will take place at the War Memorial Athletic Ground on Monday, 18th December (7.45 pm) and our normal admission prices will apply.

Travel details will be announced soon.

We have beaten Basford United, St Neots and Bradford PA to get through to the First Round stage whilst Leamington, who entered in the last round, defeated their league rivals Curzon Ashton 3-1.

Our last fixture against Leamington was in the 2016/17 pre-season when we won 4-1 at the New Windmill Ground thanks to goals from Chris Lait (2), Jake Heath and Brad Birch.

The last competitive meeting between the two sides came in the 2012/13 Southern League campaign when Stour won 5-1 at Amblecote on January 6th.

We drew 1-1 at Leamington in the League that season while also playing them twice in the FA Cup (drew 2-2 away, lost 1-2 at home) and League Cup (1-2 home defeat).

Our last FA Trophy game against Leamington was in 2009/10 when we won 2-1 away in the First Round Qualifying.

Some Stour supporters may also have some fond memories of the New Windmill Ground from back in 2007/08 when we were victorious in the Southern League Division One Midlands play-off final, beating Leamington 2-1 thanks to a Leon Broadhurst strike towards the end of extra time.
