Glassboys handed away tie in FA Trophy

5 days ago By Steven Coney

We have been drawn away at National League North side Bradford Park Avenue in the Third Round Qualifying.

Stour have beaten Basford United and St Neots Town so far in the competition whilst Bradford PA enter at this stage along with all the other National League North and South clubs.

The game is scheduled to take place at the Horsfall Stadium on Saturday, 25th November meaning the Evo-Stik Premier game against Buxton at home will have to be rearranged.

Bradford have had a decent season so far and currently sit seventh in the National League North.

They have won seven, drawn five and lost six of their 18 League fixtures, scoring 25 goals and conceding 22.

The two sides have met once before - and it was in this particular competition back in the 1998-99 season. The tie went ahead at the third attempt on a Monday evening after two postponements at the Horsfall Stadium with Bradford Park Avenue running out 3-0 victors.

Travel details will be announced when we have them.
