The Club can announce that Drew Canavan has signed for Bromsgrove Sporting whilst Ryan Rowe has linked up with Lye Town.

Drew, who initially signed for us in July 2008, has found appearances at Stour hard to come by this season and has turned out for Stourport Swifts, also of the Midland League Premier.

He has played a total of six times for the Glassboys this term, three of those from the bench, taking his Stour total to 416 appearances and 48 goals.

Drew has been a fantastic servant and we wish him all the best at Bromsgrove as they look to win a second successive promotion.

Drew said: "Due to work commitments and playing opportunities, it hasn't worked out this season hence my decision to sign for Bromsgrove Sporting.

"I would like to thank everyone involved at Stourbridge, especially the staff, players and fans for all their support over the years. The FA Cup runs will live long in the memory!"

We can also confirm that striker Ryan Rowe has linked up with our neighbours Lye Town in the Midland League Premier.

Ryan, who returned for his fourth spell with the Glassboys in the summer, has scored three times in 17 appearances for Stour this season.

He is one game short of bringing up 200 Stourbridge appearances and during his time with the Club, he has netted an impressive 93 goals.

As both Drew and Ryan have joined clubs in the Midland League, we will retain their Evo-Stik registrations.

All the best to Drew and Ryan!
