The Glassboys maintained their unbeaten start and went to the top of the Premier Division table thanks to a hard-fought draw at the War Memorial.

With eleven games taking place on Tuesday evening, the Glassboys residency at the summit is likely to be brief one, for now at least.

Jordan Archer put Stourbridge ahead on 18 minutes when he capitalised on a slip by Joel Stair before advancing on goal and slipping the ball beneath Kristian Burzynski in the Dabbers goal.

That was one of few eye-catching moments in a first half that contained plenty of good play but little in the way of incident.

The second half proved much more lively, particularly once Matt Bell had brought Nantwich level when he volleyed home at the far post from Casper Hughes' cross on 50 minutes.

Both sides could have found a winner but it was Nantwich who went closest when Matt Gould saved with his feet from substitute Kaiman Anderson, and then again when Sean Cooke almost lobbed the back-pedalling Gould from 40 yards after the keeper had come out of his area to intercept a through ball.

Brandon Hague and Archer both saw half-chances snuffed out at the other end but nether side could find a winner and honours ended even.
