When the league fixtures were released last Thursday, it soon became apparent that there was an issue with the scheduled home local derby fixture with Halesowen Town as it was originally outlined to be played on the August Bank Holiday afternoon, however the town cricket club are in action at the War Memorial Athletic Ground that day.

Given the nature of the fixture and large crowd it attracts - and following discussions with Halesowen Town, the Southern League and other bodies, it has now been decided to put the match back a day to TUESDAY, 28th AUGUST with a 7-45 pm kick-off as the League would not permit the fixture to be reversed with the Boxing Day game, which was the other option considered by both clubs.
