Our best wishes go to TOM TONKS who has opted for a move to league rivals ALVECHURCH FC. (READ ON)

Tom originally joined us from Halesowen Town in June 2015 but moved on to AFC Telford in December 2015 before returning in March 2016. In the summer of 2017 he moved up two levels by joining Solihull Moors, but getting limited game-time at Moors, he opted to return to the Stourbridge fold in September 2017.

The 27-year old missed the first half of this season after undergoing ankle surgery, but returned to the side in early December before getting a few games under his belt on dual registration with Walsall Wood. Unfortunately, with stiff competition for places in the Stourbridge midfield, he has found his opportunities limited in recent weeks.

A hard-working central midfield player who has a tremendous long throw in his armoury. Tom had joined Halesowen in March 2013 after previously playing for Brocton and Tipton Town and he enjoyed two excellent full seasons at the Grove. He won the Chairman's Player of the Year award for 2014-15 at Halesowen.

Good luck to Tom with his new club!
