We can confirm that our scheduled fixture at Nantwich Town next Tuesday has been postponed and will now be played on Tuesday, 7th November.

Both clubs requested that the Evo-Stik Premier fixture be played at a later date to give us more time to prepare for next Saturday (October 14th) and our Emirates FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round matches.

The Glassboys will host National League leaders Macclesfield Town while Nantwich welcome Southern League side Kettering Town to the Weaver Stadium.

Gary Hackett’s men will be looking to make it six First Round appearances in nine seasons but are sure to face a tough test when the Silkmen come to the War Memorial Athletic Ground.

The extra rest and preparation time will come in handy for the Glassboys ahead of what is sure to be another big FA Cup day at Amblecote.

Since making our first ever trip to the First Round in 2009-10 - where we narrowly lost to Walsall - we have made it to the Second Round three times and of course, got to the Third Round last season which culminated in our memorable visit to Wycombe Wanderers.

Stourbridge FC would like to thank Nantwich Town and the ever supportive Evo-Stik League for agreeing to the postponement and we look forward to visiting Cheshire later in the season.
