Stourbridge youngsters reach Cup Final

Stourbridge progressed to the final of the Worcestershire County Youth Cup with a 1 - 0 win away at Alvechurch on Friday night. (READ ON)

Alex Cameron scored the only goal of the keenly contested cup tie with around an hour played to secure a place in the final where Stourbridge will look to defend the trophy they lifted last May when defeating Evesham.

They will face either Bromsgrove Sporting or Worcester City in the final next month.

On Monday, 9th April Kieran Bustin's side have another semi-final to look forward to. The youth team will head to RUGBY TOWN JUNIORS for the semi-final of the Midland Floodlit Youth League Cup. Kick-off 7-45 pm.

Wednesday, 11th April sees the youth team make the short journey to near neighbours LYE TOWN for their latest MFYL Premier Division South fixture (7.45 pm).
