Stourbridge Youth Team reach semi-finals
Stourbridge made it through to the Worcestershire County Youth Cup semi-finals with a 3 - 1 win over Wednesfield on Monday night.
Goals from Chad Carter, Hayden Reeves and Jake Evans saw the home side triumph as they look to defend the trophy they won last May.
The Stourbridge FC youth team now head to HALESOWEN TOWN this Wednesday (21st Feb) for a 'local derby' league game as their original opponents Lye Town will be making another attempt to play their county cup tie with Alvechurch instead. Kick-off at the Grove is 7.45 pm.
The two sides played out a 2 - 2 draw at Stourbridge back in September and Halesowen currently lie one place below the Glassboys in the league table in sixth. Both teams have 21 points to their name, but Stourbridge have played two games fewer. A Stourbridge win would see them close the gap on the leaders.
