Lye never really threatened with only 3 attempts on goal, from 2 direct free-kicks and a header in the dying minutes which produced a magnificent save from Reiss Jeavons.

Stour weren't much better in the shooting stakes, however, they did convert 2 chances with Watts heading home on 18 mins and Mounfield turning the ball over the line at the far post from a low right-wing cross just six minutes later. Opportunities were scarce after that though until Brigdale shot wide after breaking through the Lye defence on the counter attack in second-half injury time.
