Stour maintained their winning run

Stour maintained their winning sequence with a 3-2 victory at Coton Green last night thanks to 2 late Jake Brigdale goals.
Stour had the shock of conceding after just 30 seconds as a poor clearance was hit first time on the volley from 30 yards and just crept inside the post despite the efforts of Cooper to keep it out.
Jake Evans equalised half way through the half to send the boys in level at half time.
Another error, a mix up in defence between defender and goalkeeper, saw the ball run loose and Coton forward walk it into the net after 47 minutes.
Despite playing the better football Stour could not create the chances to convert into goals with Coton defending doggedly.
However, the final 10 minutes saw the turn round with Stour pushing forward in an attempt to get a result.
Jake Brigdale came along and hit 2 goals from the edge of the 18 yard box, the second with a minute of normal time remaining.
Once again a result and 3 points but it would be nice if the boys cut out the errors and made life a little easier for themselves.
