The Youth team presentation evening was held last Friday at the club and an excellent evening was had by all.
Dave King gave his usual 'speech' and was in his usual good form with stories from last season targeting players, management and granddad Palmer on his way through. All given and taken in good fun.
An excellent buffet was provided by Pauline and Len, thanks to them and all who have assisted the youth team in some way this season.
Players awards were made to Lewis McPike, top goalscorer, Dan Brindley, Managers player of the year and Jacob Wedderburn, Players player of the year. Congratulations to all three.
Well, that's it for this season, we look forward to seeing you next season when we look to go one better than this year and bring some trophies home.
To the boys leaving us we wish them all the best in whatever they do, and we look forward to greeting the boys returning in a few weeks time.
