As the season comes to an end, with our Presentation tonight and our last trial session Sunday and final selection for next season being confirmed Monday, l would like to say a few thankyou's ......

To Daz for all his support as Team Coach, providing the boys with outstanding training every week and an insight into academy training, whether rain or shine.

To Pat and Gail, for your continuous overwhelming help and support throughout the season, Gail our first- aider, what a busy season you've had, Pat your generocity shows no bounds, for your companies sponsorship [GNA] in our early days helping providing vital equipment needed when we started out on a shoestring to providing our match day programmes, Christmas ones were so funny, for you both helping set up and clear up on match days you have been invaluable.

To Jason for volunteering to run the line on Match days not an easy task as we know, but you have done a great job. To Fathel, for his generosity in providing us with 'Man of The Match' trophies for EVERY match game.

To Matt Bradley [Tops Tubes] for his generous donation at the beginning of the season which help provide some of those essentials required to fulfill the MJPL requirements, to The Gigmill for their sponsorship, providing our after match refreshments throughout the season.

To Mark Griffiths who no longer with the team but supported myself and the lads as assistant coach especially on match days, until leaving shortly before the end of season also for providing us with many a good read doing our match reports. To Martin Priest, again leaving during the season but offered his services as linesman, much appreciated.

Thankyou to all the parents for all their support throughout the season, whether that be on Match days, fundraising events, to being taxi drivers, for making sure our boys turn up on time suitably atired to every game, your support and conduct being second to none.

Last but no means least the biggest thank you goes to the boys themselves for their commitment to the team throughout this season, their behaviour and conduct being outstanding, quickly learning new techniques, turning up and playing their best every week no matter what, even out of position when required, to those that joined to cover for injured players, l thank you, you all have been a credit to your parents, myself as manager and Stourbridge FC. I have enjoyed being your manager this season and look forward to next and l wish you all good luck for next season whether that be with myself with the U14’s at Stourbridge FC or another venture.

Many Thanks.

John.
