Playing at home v Hednesford Town
Hednesford town began with a robustness that kept Stourbridge on the back foot and up against the ropes for much of the first half. Hednesford number  and  affirmed their presence on the left side of the pitch with some quick one two passing followed by a threatening cross only to be met and punched away by Stourbridge gargantuan goalkeeper Oliver Cooper. Hednesford maintained this tempo for much of the first half keeping most of the possession in Stourbridge backhalf. This time Hednesford's number  and  linking up well with a shot from number  going just wide. Shortly after another attack from the left side this time playing it square to number  who had a good attempt on goal going just over the bar.
After much resilience from Stourbridge back four and some good battling with Stourbridge number  Jakob Burroughs and number  Joseph Sims- Woodhouse in the middle of the park, a constructive through ball played by Stourbridge number  Callum Wood that was weighted perfectly to feet of number  Samuel Wyatt who made a quick dart towards goal only to be denied by Hednesford defence
Hednesford resumed the pressure with some fluent passing down the left side following by a quick burst and cross by number  followed by a shot from  which was disallowed once again by goalkeeper Oliver Cooper. Oliver kept Hednesford out the game with another good save after Hednesford number  directed his strike well at goal.
After a display of good skills by number  Jack Clarke, Stourbridge made another attempt to penetrate Hednesford defence with some good link play between number  Arron Bishop,  Callum Wood and  Daniel Danks. One last push was from Stourbridge just before the half time whistle saw a good through ball played by number  Joseph Sims-Woodhouse which infiltrated the six yard area which was picked up  Samuel Wyatt showing good balance on the ball and cutting in with a display of unselfishness playing it square to his team mate which was met just in the nick of time by the defender.
Stourbridge started the second half with more dynamism coming to life with good passing play that put number  Bobbie Foulkes in a good position making an excellent turn on the strong number  who recovered well and stopped that flow. Moments later number  Bobbie had another attempt after a meaningful cross from number  Aaron. Stourbridge appeared more vigilante in the second half with number  Bobbie getting into good positions and number  Joseph attempting play.
Another attempt was made from Stourbridge after a sequence of passes from  Callum,  Olise and  Bobbie. A sequential play similar to the one before, this time Aaron making a low cross in the centre of the six yard box resulted in a goal from which seem eminent from Bobbie being in the prime position to side foot it into the back of the net.
This revered up Hednesford who began to make some good attempts at goal from outside the box which resulted in a couple of good saves from number  Goalkeeper Luke Bradley. Stourbridge's back four  Lewis Nicholls,  Corey Sheaf,  Tom Williams and  Joshua Beard kept their composure under fire, drew a line in the sand and denied Hednesford their equalizer.
