Two late goals gave Stourbridge Ladies victory at Wednesfield as their BCWL Title campaign gathered pace.

A tense and competitive 90 minutes saw little to choose between the teams on the whole, but the result was to hinge on an incident-packed last three minutes.

Wednesfield thought they had bagged a winning goal on 87 minutes, but the effort was chalked off for a foul on Stourbridge keeper Hannah Tromans, and from the free kick the Glassgirls broke, with Jo Smith's through ball finding Sarah Lojko (pictured) who drew the Wednesfield keeper and slid the ball home to open the scoring.

Unsurprisingly, the home side went all out from the restart, but were undone again when another break saw Lily-Beth Bown cut in from the left and coolly placed the ball beyond the keeper.

The win means Stourbridge have now won nine on the trot in the BCWL Premier Division, and return to the top of the table with five games to play, a point ahead of Coleshill Town Ladies and Tamworth Ladies.
