Full-back Josh Ezewele was signed from Alvechurch in time to make his debut as a sub against Banbury United on Saturday.

The 22-year old is a product of the West Bromwich Albion youth and academy system where he played for the under 18's and under 21's.

In July 2016 he signed a 1-year contract with Yeovil Town, but featured only once in their first team, appearing in a Checkatrade Trophy match against Reading U23's in November 2016.

He joined Kidderminster Harriers on a month's loan in January 2017 and at the end of the loan spell in February the move was made permanent.

In June 2017 he agreed a 1-year deal with AFC Fylde, however with his opportunities limited as the season wore on, he subsequently joined Redditch United on a month's loan in February 2018.

He was released by AFC Fylde at the end of the 2017/18 season and he then signed for Alvechurch in the summer of 2018, featuring regularly in their push to earn a play-off place last season.

Josh becomes the twelfth player to make the move from Lye Meadow to the War Memorial Athletic Ground in the last five months, although Zac Foster and Mitch Botfield have since returned to the 'Church.
