Lost in the hurly burly of the past week, we managed to wrap up the signing of 22-year old frontrunner ANTHONY DWYER.

Anthony made a goalscoring debut for the Glassboys on Tuesday night in the 2 - 2 draw against Lancaster City.

Anthony has dual Montserrat and England eligibility and will turn 23 next month.

The pacey forward or wide player started out with Mansfield Town where he progressed through their youth ranks. After being released in 2016 he signed for Ilkeston FC for the start of the 2016/17 campaign. He left to join Stafford Rangers in November 2016 before moving on to Matlock Town just over a month later, however his spell with the Peak District club was also short-lived and he was soon back in Ilkeston colours. In March 2017 he scored for Ilkeston in their 3 - 1 defeat at the War Memorial Athletic Ground before the crisis-hit club were relegated at the end of the season and later collapsed.

In July 2017 he signed for AFC Telford United before moving to Hednesford Town in March 2018 and two months later he played against the Glassboys in the Birmingham Senior Cup Final, operating in a wide right role.

He initially signed for Altrincham that summer, however personal circumstances meant that he instead linked up with Leamington for the beginning of the 2018/19 season.

He switched to Barwell FC early in January 2019 before transferring to Tamworth at the start of March 2019.

He was initially with National League outfit Bromley FC at the start of this season but had most recently been featuring for step 5 side Glebe FC from Chislehurst in the South East Counties League.
