Our best wishes go to @aaronh_5 following news that the 22-year old, who was released by Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season, has secured a one-year contract with the Skybet League 2 side. The Cumbrian outfit also have the option of a further year.

The strong and athletic defender originally joined the Glassboys on loan from Wolves in February 2018 and soon impressed, helping us to lift the Birmingham Senior Cup Final in May 2018 with a 2 - 1 victory over Hednesford.

He re-joined the Glassboys for a further loan stint in August 2018 and he went on to feature for us for the vast majority of last season, other than when we was recalled by Wolves in January for a time.

Aaron made 60 appearances (59 + 1 sub) for Stourbridge and scored eight times. He featured at both right-back and in the centre of the defence for us during his three loan spells.

His time on loan at Stourbridge provided Aaron with the opportunity to play regularly in competitive men's football with results mattering and gain valuable experience that will hopefully stand him in good stead for the future.
