Liam McDonald has boosted his midfield options with the signing of Alex Bradley from Walsall Wood.

The 25 year old was a rising star as he came through the ranks at West Bromwich Albion and also represented Finland’s U17 and U19 sides. He enjoyed two loan spells whilst at West Brom, first at Havant & Waterlooville and then Burton Albion as he gained experience of first team football.

Upon the expiration of his contract at the Hawthorns, he joined Lincoln City at the start of the 2019/20 season and made his debut for the side in the EFL cup before joining Harrogate Town on loan.

He also spent time on loan with Yeovil Town at the start of the 2020/21 season before making the move down south permanent in January 2021. He enjoyed an 18 month spell with the Glovers before opting to return to the midlands.

He linked up with Tamworth FC and was part of the side that got promoted to the National League North during the 2022/23 season before joining Walsall Wood as they embarked on their first season in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands. He enjoyed an impressive campaign, scoring a number of goals and creating play through midfield.
