The Cymru Premier is the top domestic league in Wales with the top clubs winning European places and has had its elite status restored and permission now for matches to resume behind closed doors by the authorities in Wales after the league was suspended back in December.

Newtown kicked off the league re-start on Tuesday night with a 2 - 0 home win over Penybot with Alex claiming an assist for the Robins second goal. The goals from this match can be viewed by checking out @sgorio on twitter.

Alex joined the Glassboys from Newtown last summer making nine (8 + 1 sub) appearances and scoring once (his match-winning header against Hitchin) before our campaign ground to a halt at the end of October.
