Drew Canavan fired Stourbridge in-front with just 22 seconds gone and the same player added a second after 5 minutes after capitalising on a poor back pass. Bideford pulled a goal back soon afterwards through Sean Downing and their efforts paid off further on the hour mark as Kevin Squire volleyed home an equaliser. The Robins looked the more likely side to find a winner in the time remaining, but Stourbridge clung on for a point.
