After discussion with Stourbridge Cricket Club it was agreed that the traditional event, which has been held at Amblecote since the 1980’s, will not go ahead.

Over the past three years poor weather has meant lower than hoped for spectator numbers, and has also contributed to damage to the cricket pitch and training areas of the ground.

With the increased cost of repairing the ground, and the reduction of spectators, both clubs feel that after have suffering financial losses over the past few years it is not viable to stage the event this year.

We would like to thank everyone who has attended our event over the past few years and are very grateful to those of you who have supported us.
