While the 2019/20 FA Trophy competition remains on hold for now with the four semi-finalists, Harrogate Town (newly promoted to the EFL), Notts County, Halesowen Town and Concord Rangers still waiting to learn whether and how it will be played to completion, the Football Association have released more details concerning the 2020/21 competition.

The 2020/21 competition has 293 entrants from steps 1 to 4 of the non-league pyramid. The rounds have been re-numbered for 2020/21 with 'preliminary rounds' removed.

Stourbridge are one of 87 Step 3 clubs exempt to the 3rd Round Qualifying on October 31st.

The 43 National League North and South clubs enter at the 2nd Round Proper stage and the 24 National League clubs are exempt to the 3rd Round Proper.
