The Glassboys have recruited experienced 29-year-old attacker BRENDON DANIELS ahead of the opening game of the season against Coalville.

The Stoke-on-Trent born player can play as a left winger or in the '10' role behind the main striker and is regarded as a set-piece specialist.

He began his career in the academy set-up at Crewe Alexandra and had a month's loan with Chester FC in February 2013. Following his release from the Railwaymen, he again linked up with Chester in February 2014 before signing for Tamworth in August 2014 after impressing on trial.

He spent a year with the Staffordshire club before signing for Harrogate Town in June 2015. He enjoyed an excellent season, netting over twenty goals and winning the player of the year award. His fine form led to a call-up to play for the England C semi-professional side against Ukraine C in March 2016.

In May 2016 he signed for AFC Fylde and played his part in helping the Coasters win the National League North title before moving on to Alfreton Town in August 2017.

In May 2018 he was handed a six-month contract by Neil Aspin, the then manager of League Two outfit Port Vale. He was then loaned out to Altrincham for the start of the 2018-19 season before returning to Port Vale to make his first team debut as a substitute away to Walsall in an EFL Trophy Group stage game in November 2018.

Shortly afterwards he was loaned out to AFC Telford United and he made the move permanent early in January 2019. While the 2019-20 campaign ended up being curtailed due to the covid-19 pandemic, he was named as the Shropshire club's player of the year at their end of season presentation awards - held via video link!

In December 2021 he scored Telford's second goal here at the War Memorial Athletic Ground in the FA Trophy tie that saw the Glassboys net two late goals to turn the game completely on its head and run out 3 - 2 victors over the then National League North side.

He left the Bucks recently after four-and-a-half years and we are delighted to have been able to secure his services.
