Darryl Knights is set to become Mark Yates' fifth summer signing after agreeing terms on a move to the Black Country following his release from National League North outfit AFC Telford United.
The 5ft 7ins. attacking playmaker follows in the footsteps of Kieran Morris, Brad Birch and Charlie Price by committing to the 2020-21 season at the War Memorial Athletic Ground, with the club also activating their 12-month option on defender Kristian Green earlier this month.
Suffolk-born Knights started his professional career with his hometown club, before spending time on loan at Yeovil Town - later making the move to Somerset on a permanent deal.
The 32-year old, who can also operate at the head of a midfield diamond or out wide, has also had two spells with Kidderminster Harriers, as well as stints with Newport County, Solihull Moors and Tamworth respectively before signing for AFC Telford in the summer of 2018.
Darryl made 64 appearances during his two seasons with AFC Telford United and netted seven times for the Shropshire outfit.
He is also a personal trainer at Stourbridge-based Snap Fitness UK.
