Stour produced the performance of the season last night to defeat top of the league Alvechurch and progress into the final of the Worcs. County Youth Cup where they will meet either Bromsgrove Sporting or Evesham Utd who meet on Wednesday night at Bromsgrove.

A complete performance from the whole squad frustrated Alvechurch in a goalless first half, where Alvechurch did not manage one shot on goal. On the hour Joel Craner hit a superb cross from wide on the right, which was glanced home by Freddie Watts for the only goal of the night.

Two brilliant saves by Reiss Jeavons and some excellent defensive work against an ever pressing Alvechurch denied the visitors and gave Stour a well deserved victory.
