The Glassboys have won the trophy on 12 occasions including a hat-trick of successes between 2010/11 and 2012/13, We last entered in the 2016/17 season.

Alvechurch are the current holders of the trophy, winning a penalty shootout 4 - 3 after playing out a goal-less draw with Evesham United in the Final.

The competition has expanded in recent seasons following the dropping of the Worcestershire Senior Urn and the incorporating of teams from Worcestershire lying outside of the top four levels of non-league football into the Cup draw. This has led to 15 clubs entering this season. Kidderminster Harriers have a bye into the 2nd Round.
