BURY TOWN were promoted as the Isthmian League Division 1 North play-off winners. We have met the Suffolk outfit before as we played each other for three seasons in the Southern League Division 1 North in the early 1970's prior to our title success and promotion in 1973/74 and we also crossed paths again in the 1995/96 campaign after Bury Town were transferred across to the SL Midland Division from the Southern Division.

We then travel to another newly promoted side QUORN AFC the following Tuesday night before heading to ST IVES TOWN on Saturday, 16th August.
