Jodie Bragan says Manager Andy Fisher deserves the credit for Sunday's 3-0 Birmingham County Cup victory over Crusaders at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.
The Glassgirls overcame higher level opposition to book their place in the Quarter-Final stage of the competition, with the potential of a draw with either Wolverhampton Wanderers or West Bromwich Albion in the next round.
And Bragan believes Fisher made all the right calls ahead of their tricky tie on Sunday afternoon.
"Andy Fisher deserves the credit for Sunday's victory," she said.
"He's had one eye on that game for several weeks now - he put a plan together, and it worked for us.
"We staged the game at the War Memorial, 'Fish' wanted to play on a big pitch, as he thought it would suit our game and give us an advantage. That's exactly what happened on the day."
Stour marched into the Quarter-Finals with goals from Carly Aldred, Molli-Mai Summers and Amber Lawrence.
And Bragan believes the Ladies' league form is helping their run in Cup competition, too.
"When you're winning games, scoring goals, and playing well, it gives you the confidence in any game.
"We didn't fear Crusaders on Sunday. Of course, we showed them respect because they're playing a higher league than ourselves, but we proved we can play at a higher level with this result and performance.
"They didn't test Amie (Preston), really. She didn't have a save to make. We dominated the game and fully deserve to be in the next round of the competition," she added.
