The 18-year old striker (pictured above with Glassgirls manager, Andy Fisher) has been with the Baggies since the age of 15, rising through the ranks via the reserves, and has several first team appearances under her belt in the last two seasons.
Fisher believes Rogers will bring an extra dimension to the team.
“Millie will bring us goals, it’s as simple as that. Our goals have been spread all around the team over the last couple of seasons, which is great, and it’s not as though we’ve gone short of goals at all! But if you add Millie into that mix she’s an out-and-out goalscorer and that’s the cherry on the cake.
“She’s aggressive, technically good, first touch excellent, and she can finish.”
Speaking to the website, Millie explained why she was so keen to join Stourbridge.
“The whole set up, the players at the club, it really feels good. There’s a lot of ambition and I want to be involved in that. I’m looking forward to contributing a few goals, playing my part and hopefully maybe getting us up to the next level.
“I can play anywhere up front, I like to use my speed and strength and run with the ball. I think I can bring a lot to the team.”
Fisher feels the latest addition brings him and his coaching team a step closer to their ideal starting point for the campaign.
“I’m really happy with the squad we’ve got now. There are a couple more new signings potentially to tie up, but I think we’re pretty much set.
“We’ve kept everyone from last season, and they’re working hard. It’s really exciting to see. The training sessions we’ve had so far have been very positive.”
The Glassgirls kick off their pre-season schedule at home to Solihull Moors on Sunday 18th July.
