Our opponents have no affiliation to the Men's EFL club. They beat fellow tier 3 side Halifax Women 4 - 1 away last Sunday to take their place in Round 2.

We have faced Hull City Ladies on three occasions previously. We recorded a 2 - 1 win away in January 2023 on our way to the FANWL Plate Final where we were beaten by Leeds United at Solihull Moors FC.

Hull City Ladies subsequently won promotion to the FANWL Northern Premier Division at the end of the 2023-24 season and they completed a league double over us last season. They won 4 - 2 here at the War Memorial Athletic Ground in September 2024 and won the return match in March 2025 2 - 1.

Winning clubs in Round 2 win £8,000 in prize money, while losing teams receive £2,000.
