The 32-year-old has opted to part ways with the Glassboys in search of "a new challenge" and he has subsequently signed for our NPL Division 1 Midlands near neighbours Halesowen Town to help their bid to gain promotion to step 3.
In his two spells at the War Memorial Athletic Ground, he notched up 84 appearances (75 + 9 sub) and scored 32 times.
Greg joined Stourbridge for the first time in the summer of 2018 and netted 24 times in the 2018/19 season and won the Manager's Player of the Year award as we finished 3rd in the league before losing to Alvechurch in the play-offs with Gary Hackett then stepping down as manager soon afterwards with Ian Long taking over as boss for the 2019/20 campaign.
Millsy signed for our Premier Division Central rivals Bromsgrove Sporting in October 2019, however he was brought back to Amblecote for a second stint by new manager Mark Yates during the summer of 2020 for the short-lived 2020/21 season. Unfortunately, he missed the vast majority of the 2021/22 season after sustaining a serious knee injury, but he worked hard to be able to resume playing again in July 2022 under the management now of Stuart Pierpoint and Leon Broadhurst.
We sincerely thank Greg for his efforts and contribution whilst with the club and wish him every success in the future!
