The former Wolves, Coventry United and Solihull Moors striker arrives at the War Memorial Ground after a successful spell at the Mikes where her 7 goals from 11 games after signing in November last season played a big part in their promotion from Division 1 Midlands to the FAWNL Premier Division North.
And despite Boldmere taking a while to find their feet at the higher level Lois has already netted 9 goals from 12 appearances this time around, including 5 from her last 3 games.
The Glassgirls’ manager is not surprisingly delighted to have been able to capture Lois’s signature to boost his strike force as the Title race hots up.
“Lois is an incredible acquisition for us. She’s a proven goalscorer at this level, and she’s been finding the net at the level above this season, so to be able to bring her in is huge for us.
“She will increase our options and give us more flexibility to change things round and vary the way we play, and it will give us breathing space for the inevitable injuries and fatigue as we go through the winter months.
“We’ve had a good start and it would be easy to sit back and admire our work so far, but that’s not what we’re about. We want to push on and make sure we strengthen whenever we get the opportunity, and the chance to add a player of Lois’s quality to an already talented squad is just too good to turn down.”
Lois herself says she's looking forward to the challenges ahead at a new club, and has set her sights firmly on promotion.
"It's obviously a really ambitious club, doing really well in the Division at the moment. I'm hoping I can bring some experience to what's already clearly a really good team.
"I think first and foremost the aim is to win the Division, and that's something I share. As a team that's the main objective, but for me personally I just want to be scoring and assisting as many goals as I can."
Lois will go straight into the First Team squad, but will be cup tied for next Sunday’s FAWNL Plate fixture at Peterborough United.
