He died in hospital on Saturday night at the age of 25. The former Huddersfield Town and Chesterfield player had been on loan at Matlock Town from Alfreton Town.

Matlock Town were very supportive back in 2017 when they were our first opponents following on from the tragic death of Ryan Passey and tributes were made pre-kick-off.
