Stourbridge will wear red and white at Nuneaton.

The Glassboys head to Liberty Way on Tuesday night hoping to build on Saturday's encouraging performance and result against struggling Leiston.

There is no team coach running to the game but we hope many of you will make the effort to get across to Nuneaton to support the team!

The home side have some familiar faces in their playing ranks with both Luke Benbow and Callum Powell having made the move over the summer from Stourbridge to Nuneaton. Central defender Joel Kettle is another former Glassboy on their books.

Stourbridge have visited Liberty Way twice before. Playing against Nuneaton Town in December 2009 the Glassboys frustrated the home side to gain a battling point in a 0 - 0 draw.

Stourbridge returned for the 3rd Round of the Birmingham Senior Cup in February 2011 but were swept aside by the now higher ranked Warwickshire hosts with the Conference North club running out convincing 3 - 0 winners.

The two sides met at the War Memorial Athletic Ground in the Birmingham Senior Cup Semi-Finals in March this year with Boro earning a deserved 2 - 1 win to end our reign as holders. Nuneaton went on to lose to Leamington in the Final.

Both sides have undergone significant personnel changes since that game however. Only Jordaan Brown, Greg Mills and Brad Birch of the Stourbridge starters that night remain at the club. (Niall Maher, rather than James Wren, was in goal for the cup-tie) and Nuneaton are in a similar position.

Having battled through adversity last season with fears for the club's survival at one stage, hopes were high that despite suffering relegation from the National League North, Boro would be amongst the leading lights in the Premier Division Central this season. but their results have been hit and miss so far. They are currently 18th with 7 points from 7 games with their away record a particular concern.

They have won two out of three at home though, bouncing back from an opening day defeat to Kings Langley to since overcome Needham Market 1-0 and Lowestoft Town 4-1.
