The 24-year-old, who can operate as a defensive midfielder or central defender, started out at West Bromwich Albion, progressing through their youth ranks and appearing for the Baggies at under 23 level in the EFL Trophy.
He had a short loan stint with Hednesford Town early in 2020 before the covid-19 pandemic set in.
Tom was released by WBA in May 2021 and had trials with Port Vale that summer before joining Stourbridge for the first time in September 2021.
He made 21 appearances (17 + 4 sub) and scored twice for us before his consistently good performances attracted the attention of Weymouth whom he signed for in December 2021.
However he found his opportunities limited at the Dorset outfit and he returned to the Midlands in February 2022 with a move to Alvechurch.
The summer of 2022 saw Tom sign for Boston United, although he spent much of the early part of that season out on loan at Ilkeston.
In June 2023 he joined Stratford Town where he has spent the past two seasons.
Tom first featured for us in our pre-season friendly at Coleshill and having also played against Kidderminster last Saturday, boss Darryl Knights is delighted to have been able to agree a deal to bring Tom back into the fold.
