We can confirm that TOM TURTON, DAVE BELLIS and ZAC FOSTER have all now agreed deals to join the Glassboys from Alvechurch. (READ ON)

TOM TURTON returns to the War Memorial Athletic Ground for a second stint. He is a midfielder with great vision and a good passer of the ball.

Tom originally linked up with the Glassboys ahead of the 2012/13 season following his release from West Bromwich Albion.

Tom spent much of that season with us and clocked up 23 appearances (8 + 15 sub). In March 2013 he joined Romulus FC on 'dual registration' in order to get more games under his belt and he subsequently signed for Romulus that summer.

In August 2014 Tom joined Sutton Coldfield Town and he spent two seasons with the Royals, although he did have a few games for Tividale in November 2015.

The 25-year old agreed a move to Alvechurch in May 2016 where he has since gone from strength to strength. Along with Ashley Carter, he was named in the Evo-stik League Division 1 South team of the year for 2017/18 as the 'Church won promotion to step 3. A fine 2018/19 campaign saw him win the Manager's Player of the Year award at Alvechurch earlier this month.

DAVE BELLIS is a tough tackling midfielder with a great engine and good positional sense that does a fine job screening the defence. He first came to prominence in the Hellenic League with Wokingham & Emmbrook and Binfield before moving up to the Midlands in the autumn of 2013 where he subsequently signed for Tividale. He helped them to win the Midland Alliance title that season.

He followed Ian Long and Richard Colwell to Alvechurch in the summer of 2015 and has since continued his development as 'Church have since enjoyed back-to-back promotions. Following his first season at step 3 in the Premier Division Central in 2018/19 he recently won the Alvechurch Players' Player of the Year trophy.

ZAC FOSTER is an attack-minded full-back who started out with Stoke City before subsequently joining Nantwich Town. He signed for Tividale in early 2014 and has since followed a similar path to Dave Bellis, moving to Alvechurch in the summer of 2015 from Tividale and he has also admirably handled and adapted well to the two-step rise in the leagues that Alvechurch have since undertaken.

The new arrivals will boost the competition for places ahead of the new season.

We bid Tom a warm welcome back and welcome Dave and Zac to the club.
