There was little hint of the success that lay ahead in the Group stage however, as a disappointing run of results only just saw the team qualify for the semi-finals.

However stand-in goalkeeper Peter Pitt was in fine form in the semi-final, helping the team to a 3-0 win against West Bromwich Albion.

An evenly-matched Final saw Peter again keeping the team's hopes intact, and with Redditch also hitting the post twice the game remained goalless at full time.

Peter then saved two penalties in the shoot-out before Chris Jones stepped up to net the winning goal!

With our 7-a-side team reaching the Final of their play-offs last Sunday, the first season for our new Pan Disability squads has proved incredibly successful. Our congratulations to everyone involved and we look forward to building on their endeavours next season!
