The provisional line-up for the 2024/25 Premier Division Central shows seven changes from the season just finished.

BANBURY UNITED and Hertfordshire outfit BISHOP'S STORTFORD are relegated from the National League North into our division.

LOWESTOFT TOWN return to step 3 after being crowned as champions of the Isthmian Division 1 North.

Two clubs are promoted from the Southern League Division 1 Central with champions BIGGLESWADE TOWN and play-off winners BEDFORD TOWN also making a return to our division after recent relegations.

In addition, two clubs are promoted from the NPL Division 1 Midlands with champions SPALDING UNITED and play-off winners HARBOROUGH TOWN stepping up to the Premier Division Central.

To the best of our knowledge we have not previously played Bishop's Stortford or Harborough Town at men's senior level before.

We have played Spalding United previously when we were both members of the Southern League Midlands Division between 1988 and 1991 before the Lincolnshire side were relegated.

Moving out of our division are champions NEEDHAM MARKET and play-off winners LEAMINGTON, both promoted to the National League North.

MICKLEOVER FC, who finished 5th in the final standings after a late season deduction of 12 points before losing at Telford in the play-off semi-finals, return to the NPL Premier Division after two seasons in the Southern League.

Two of the three relegated clubs, BERKHAMSTED FC and HITCHIN TOWN have been allocated to the Southern League Division 1 Central Division, while LONG EATON UNITED have been placed in the NPL Division 1 Midlands.

NUNEATON BOROUGH withdrew from the League earlier this year to leave the division one short and the newly created NUNEATON TOWN will start out at step 6 in the MFL Division 1 in 2024/25.

The final league constitutions are subject to appeals and ratification at the various upcoming League AGM's.
