LEAMINGTON and PETERBOROUGH SPORTS make a return to our division following their relegation from the National League North at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Leicestershire-based ANSTEY NOMADS are promoted as champions of the NPL Division1 Midlands and they are joined by RACING CLUB WARWICK following their triumph in the NPL Division 1 Midlands play-off final at Belper. We met both teams in cup competitions in the season just ended, suffering a defeat at Anstey in the FA Trophy, but overcoming Warwick in the Birmingham Senior Cup.
LEIGHTON TOWN, from the Bedfordshire town of Leighton Buzzard, are promoted as champions of the Southern League Division 1 Central. We previously played them between 2006 and 2008 when we were both members of the Southern League Midland Division before we won promotion in 2008.
HITCHIN TOWN are back in step 3 after one season away. The Canaries won the Southern League Division 1 Central play-offs to seal their return back to this level.
Finally, RUSHALL OLYMPIC have been assigned to our division after being transferred across from the NPL Premier Division where they spent one season after being relegated from the National League North in 2024/25. Projected to move in the opposite direction are Quorn FC.
The new season is scheduled to start on 8th August.
