Both players have performed well during our pre-season friendly games and are well-known to boss Ian Long from his time at Alvechurch with Ryan also playing under the new manager at Tividale before that.
Ryan Winwood - @Ryan_Winwood was initially with West Bromwich Albion in their youth and academy set-up. He linked up with Tividale following his release in the summer of 2013 and played his part in their Midland Alliance title success in 2013/14. He moved to Rushall Olympic for the start of the following season for a brief stint before returning to Tividale. He followed Ian Long and Richard Colwell to Alvechurch in May 2015 and quickly made a good impression at the Worcestershire club. He has been unlucky with injuries more recently and spent some of the second half of last season on dual registration with Romulus.
Andre Carvalho-Landell - @AndreLandell is a livewire, athletic forward who started his career in the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth academy set-up. After being released in the summer of 2011 he signed for Bath City early the following season before moving on to Hednesford Town in December 2011. He later headed to America to study and play. He represented Tiffin University before joining Michigan Bucks of the North American Premier Development League. After returning to England he signed for Rushall Olympic in September 2017 before moving to Alvechurch in October 2018. He scored against the Glassboys in the play-off semi-final in May 2019 after coming on as a second-half substitute.
We are pleased to 'officially' welcome them on board for the new season!
