MATCH PREVIEW
Gary Hackett's men will be out to complete a league double over their north Worcestershire visitors having enjoyed a 4 - 0 victory in the reverse fixture back in November.
The Glassboys hope to welcome back attacking midfielder Robert Thompson-Brown after injury, plus Luke Benbow, who sat out Monday's cup loss to Nuneaton as a precautionary measure following his recent injury problem.
Despite some up and down form since the turn of the year, Stourbridge have continued to be a tough outfit to overcome in the league at the War Memorial Athletic Ground with only Kettering Town having taken away maximum points at the Glassboys expense.
Redditch United have had to overcome a poor start to the current campaign, which included eight defeats in their first nine league outings and an early exit from the FA Cup.
The Reds parted company with Paul Davis, who had only been appointed in the summer, and turned to former Bromsgrove Sporting boss Paul Smith as his successor after Smith left his role as joint-boss of Highgate United in mid-September.
Smith has since overhauled the squad and although they have lacked some consistency, Redditch are currently sat 17th in the table with 39 points from 34 league games (won 11, drew 6 and lost 17). They are now 9 points clear of Lowestoft in 20th.
Redditch are unbeaten in their last four league matches. An impressive 4 - 1 victory over Needham Market at home has since been followed by three games where Smith's side have persevered and come up with late goals to pick up much needed points. A stunning stoppage time volley from Rob Evans earned them a 1 - 1 draw at Banbury and they then rescued a point at home to St Neots Town with Robbie Bunn netting in time added on to salvage a 1 - 1 draw after Redditch had been reduced to 8 men having had Richard Batchelor, Mike McGrath and James Bowen sent off earlier in separate incidents. Last Saturday they recorded a 1 - 0 win at Royston when Shaquille Leachman-Whittingham scored with virtually the last kick of the game.
