[b]MATCH PREVIEW

Stourbridge will be keen to get back to winning ways after letting points slip away at the death at Royston Town last Saturday, which allowed King's Lynn Town to close within four points of second spot, but the Glassboys will face ST IVES TOWN on Saturday afternoon with a somewhat depleted squad. Midfielder Aaron Forde is suspended after his dismissal at Royston and Luke Benbow, Callum Powell and Darryl Westlake are all expected to be missing through injury. Louis Hall and Nehemia Zazi are added to the squad. Boss Gary Hackett will need his big players to deliver the goods against a visiting side that have fared better on their travels than at home this season.

The Cambridgeshire visitors are comfortably sat in mid-table, lying 14th with 46 points from 36 games (won 12, drew 10 and lost 14), but 28 points have been secured on their travels compared to 18 at Westwood Road with notable victories coming at Kettering Town, Tamworth and Banbury United.

Ricky Marheineke's side have only netted 32 goals in the league (only the bottom 3 have scored fewer goals), however the Saints have one of the tightest defences in the division, conceding just 38 goals - a figure only the top three can better.

St Ives have this week brought in 20-year old striker Morgan Penfold on loan from Peterborough United. He previously had a youth loan with the Saints in late 2016 and he has since had loan stints with Biggleswade Town and Boston United.

The two sides have met twice before. Stourbridge defeated the Saints 2 - 0 at the War Memorial Athletic Ground in the FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round in September 2017 with Leon Broadhurst scoring twice in the second-half, while our league meeting at St Ives earlier this season ended goal-less.
