Stourbridge ran out 3 - 1 winners in their latest friendly fixture away at Stourport. The Glassboys opened the scoring on 8 minutes with Luke Benbow applying the finishing touch to a downward header from Jamie Oliver following a Sean Geddes corner. A deflected drive from Ben Billingham then made it two in the 25th minute. Joe Adams pulled a goal back from the penalty spot in the 61st minute after Oliver brought down Kyonn Evans, but the Stourbridge defender got his name on the scoresheet three minutes from time with a low drive from the edge of the box after the home side failed to clear a Glassboys corner.
Stourbridge travel to Rushall Olympic on Saturday 28th July (3pm) before entertaining Mansfield Town at Amblecote on Tuesday 31st July.
